Lifeguard Training & CPR/AED Renewal Course at Town of Aurora Community Pool.

For Town of Aurora Parks & Recreation Staff & Volunteers only - others with prior approval.

You must attend the water work session to get recertified every 2 years. You need CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer every year.

*This program uses CPR  training mannequins generously donated by the East Aurora Lions Club.

Lifeguard and CPR Renewal
Lifeguard renewals are only offered in August - this will not be offered by us any other time of the year at this pool. If your lifeguard certification is dated any time other than August, you will need to take it now or you can contact the Red Cross for other renewal options. If you were certified in lifeguarding earlier this year, you need to renew CPR now to get on our schedule.

Notes:
  • Choose one time slot for Water Work for Lifeguard Renewal (approx. 3 hours) and one time slot for CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (approx. 2 hours)
  • YOU MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED TO ATTEND, PLEASE DO NOT JUST SHOW UP!
  • $30 - CPR renewal only for current Recreation Dept. and East Aurora School teacher staff and Boys and Girls Club Staff
  • $40 - Lifeguard & CPR renewal for current Recreation Dept. and East Aurora School teacher staff and Boys and Girls Club Staff
  • $70 - Others approved by the Director if space allows
